Momentive SilGrip™ Pressure Sensitive Adhesives

SilGrip™ is a range of silicone pressure sensitive adhesives from Momentive Perfrmance Materials which adhere to a wide variety of surfaces, are generally reliable over a broad temperature range, and typically thoughtfully balance tack and peel properties depending on the application.

TECHSiL offer PSA529 and PSA6573A which are more commonly known for their abilities as pressure sensitive adhesives in component bonding applications, however have recently been developed for a new purpose in laminating surfaces together.

PSA529 is a high performance silicone contact adhesive which is often chosen as the go to grade in applications where other adhesives and bonding options have failed. It can be applied using a brush or a roller and is turning out to be an excellent candidate for use in laminating and assembly applications that require resistance to high temperatures.

PSA6573A is from the same high performance family as the PSA529 however offers more shear strength and a higher pouring viscosity. This grade becomes aggressively pressure sensitive at 93°C however is almost tack free at room temperature.
