Conductive Adhesives

Conductive Adhesives

Conductive adhesives are a fascinating and essential component in modern electronics, offering a versatile solution to ever increasing demands within the electronics industry. At TECHSiL, we specialise in providing both thermal and electrical conductive adhesives and compounds, which are crucial for various high-performance electronic applications.

What are Conductive Adhesives?

Conductive adhesives are materials that combine adhesive properties with either electrical conductivity of thermal conductivity.

Electrically Conductive Adhesives are designed to provide strong electrical conductivity while also offering mechanical bonding, typically used in:

  • Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs): For attaching components without the need for high-temperature soldering.
  • Flexible Electronics: Ideal for wearable devices and flexible displays.
  • EMI/RFI Shielding: To protect sensitive electronic components from electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

Thermally Conductive Adhesives are formulated to conduct heat away from electronic components, helping to manage thermal loads and improve device reliability. They are commonly used in:

  • Heat Sinks: To bond heat sinks to processors or other heat-generating components.
  • LED Assemblies: Ensuring efficient heat dissipation in LED lighting.
  • Power Electronics: Managing heat in high-power devices like inverters and power supplies.

With the support from our world leading suppliers, TECHSiL are focused on enhancing the performance and sustainability of these adhesives. Udnersdtanding the demands of the electronics indsutry and exploring new materials and formulations to improve conductivity, adhesion strength, and thermal properties. Our goal is to develop adhesives that not only meet current industry standards but also pave the way for future innovations in electronics.
