TECHSiL Celebrates Commitment to Real Living Wage

TECHSiL Ltd , a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, is excited to announce its accreditation by the Living Wage Foundation. This esteemed recognition highlights TECHSiL’s commitment to fair pay and its unwavering dedication to the well-being of its employees.

The Living Wage Foundation accreditation is granted to employers who voluntarily choose to pay their staff a real Living Wage, which exceeds the government minimum. By becoming a Living Wage employer, TECHSiL reaffirms its long-standing priority of ensuring the welfare of its employees.

Effective immediately, all TECHSiL employees will receive a minimum hourly wage of £12, surpassing the government minimum for individuals over 21, which currently stands at £11.44 per hour. This commitment is particularly significant in the West Midlands, where 14.2% of workers earn below what is necessary to get by, with approximately 334,000 jobs paying less than the real Living Wage. TECHSiL’s decision to implement the real Living Wage underscores its commitment to delivering fair compensation for hard work.

The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated based on the cost of living, providing a voluntary benchmark for employers who wish to ensure that their staff earn a wage that allows them to live, rather than merely meeting the government minimum. Since the inception of the Living Wage movement in 2011, over 460,000 individuals have benefited from a pay rise, contributing an additional £3 billion to the pockets of low-paid workers. With this accreditation, TECHSiL guarantees that all employees, including contracted staff, will receive compensation that meets the real cost of living, promoting financial stability and overall well-being.

As one of the few adhesive specialist companies to receive this accreditation, TECHSiL sets a significant benchmark within the industry, demonstrating that ethical business practices and commercial success can coexist.
